Mothers | Malgorzata Florkowska : Amanda, Andrea, and Lu

posted in: Uncategorized

Amanda, who has two biological children, travelled to Russia to adopt Ian – in the picture, and two teenage girls.  Ian is a child of special needs and receives additional care and therapy.  Amanda is an amazing mother that works full time, goes to school – pursuing her masters degree, cares for her children, and ailing father.  How she does it all, I do not know, but it impresses me greatly.
Andrea Noel loves her cats and they love her back.  It is gratifying to see how they follow her, keep her company, and sleep around her, so she does not dare to move!!! It is good to know that four cats, that would be otherwise homeless, have such a good, loving home and Andrea has four, purring often, and never squabbling, kids.
It seemed like a good idea at the time. Artist Lu Flaherty was simply looking for a source of digestible milk when she took up with goats. Now she wonders who took up with whom. One thing for sure, the goats have become family. Besides the milk and cheese, she also trades her services as “brush managers” for a place to park her camper. When their work is done at a location, the herd moves on to another woodlot overrun with privet, honeysuckle and briers.
